Governance, Risk & Compliance - Consultant/Senior Consultant

Our Governance, Risk & Compliance practice are looking for experienced Consultants & Senior Consultants to join the team.

We help leading financial services organisations transform risk management, compliance and governance into strategic capabilities that enable sustainable growth, resilience and innovation. Our team works with clients across banking, insurance, wealth and asset management, supporting them through regulatory change, emerging technologies and evolving risk landscapes.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for motivated, intellectually curious professionals with experience across risk, controls and governance, with a focus on digital assets and/or AI implementation and risk management to help clients solve complex challenges and deliver lasting results.

What you will be doing

• Deliver risk and regulatory transformation programmes for financial services clients
• Design and enhance enterprise risk management, governance and control frameworks
• Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses and controls reviews
• Support clients in embedding effective governance and risk management for AI and emerging technologies
• Advise on risk and control frameworks across digital asset use cases, including tokenisation, cryptoassets, stablecoins, custody and settlement
• Assess operating models, client journeys and control environments to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Interpret and implement evolving UK and global regulatory requirements
• Develop high-quality client deliverables and build trusted client relationships

Your skills and experience

• Experience in risk management, compliance, audit, operational risk or consulting within financial services
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, governance and controls
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience delivering regulatory change or risk transformation programmes
• Understanding of Digital Assets, blockchain technologies, tokenisation or cryptoasset ecosystems
• Experience or interest in AI Governance, Responsible AI, Model Risk Management or technology-enabled risk transformation
• Familiarity with financial services regulations, including digital asset regulation and supervisory frameworks (e.g. UK FSMA and FCA guidance, MiCA, HKMA virtual asset guidance)
• Consulting or Big Four experience is advantageous
