Job Description

Purpose of the role

To identify, assess and mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks, provide oversight on regulatory reporting, and maintenance of open communication with regulators to ensure that the bank's activities and operations comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal control policies.  

Accountabilities

• Identification and assessment of prudential regulatory reporting risks arising from the bank's activities, products, and services. Development and implementation of strategies to mitigate prudential regulatory reporting risks, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal control policies, and conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify and address potential compliance gaps or violations.
• Assessment of the effectiveness of the bank’s internal control processes and governance framework, including addressing any weaknesses or gaps that could lead to regulatory reporting non-compliance, and implementation of measures to strengthen internal controls.
• Preparation and submission of regulatory reports to authorities, and provision of support to other departments in their preparation and review of regulatory reports.
• Analysis and presentation of regulatory data to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Development and implementation of training programmes to educate employees on regulatory requirements and compliance responsibilities.
• Communication and liaising with regulatory bodies, prompt responses to inquiries and provision of requested information, and representation of the bank in meetings with regulators.
• Management of the selection, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems and software applications, including collaboration with IT colleagues to integrate regulatory reporting systems with other enterprise systems.

Join Barclays as a Regulatory Reporting FR Y-15 & CCAR AVP, where you will play a key role in preparing and delivering critical Federal Reserve regulatory filings, including FR Y-15 and CCAR submissions (FR Y-14A, FR Y-14Q, and FR Y-14M), that support the firm's regulatory obligations and risk management framework. You will partner with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Product Control to coordinate complex data aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting activities across the Intermediate Holding Company (IHC) and Continuing U.S. Operations (CUSO). In this role, you will strengthen the control environment through robust governance, data quality, attestation, and change management processes that ensure reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will also serve as a trusted partner during regulatory engagements, supporting Federal Reserve inquiries, examinations, and reporting reviews with timely, insightful, and well-supported responses. Additionally, you will identify reporting gaps, investigate root causes, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance reporting processes and operational efficiency. By doing so, you will contribute to Barclays' commitment to strong governance, effective risk management, and regulatory excellence.

To be successful as a Regulatory Reporting FR Y-15 & CCAR AVP, you should have:

• Banking or financial services experience within Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, or Treasury functions.

• Knowledge of FR Y-15 regulatory reporting and related Federal Reserve reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Other highly valued skills and experience include:

• Experience with FR Y-14, and FR Y-9C regulatory reporting

• Knowledge of investment banking products and Basel III capital regulations.

• Familiarity with AXIOM, regulatory reporting systems, and internal controls; CPA and/or MBA preferred.

This role is based in Whippany, NJ.

Minimum Salary: $100,000
Maximum Salary: $150,000

The minimum and maximum salary information above includes only base salary. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
