Our Assurance-IFRS Accounting Services team is expanding and we’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our team. Our team helps our audit teams and clients in solving complex accounting issues with our deep technical knowledge and expertise in the application and interpretation of accounting standards, policy and the evolving financial reporting landscape.Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognising when to take action and when to escalate. You are expected to solve through complexity, ask thoughtful questions, and clearly communicate how things fit together. Your ability to develop and sustain high performing, diverse, and inclusive teams, and your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our Firm.
In our team, your impact will be seen by:
Help our clients and engagement teams to understand accounting and financial reporting complexities, through expert guidance and advice.
Lead training, presenting at internal & external conferences, developing thought leadership and contributing to team initiatives in order to build your reputation as a subject matter expert in this space.
Develop deep technical knowledge and expertise in the application and interpretation of accounting standards, policy and the evolving regulatory landscape
Build networks and meaningful connections within our Global Corporate Reporting Services network to stay abreast of issues impacting the industry, clients and engagement teams
Qualifications and Experience
ACA (ICAP) or foreign equivalent qualifications.
Forthe Senior Manager role at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a professional services firmincluding 2 years (preferred) in a technical accounting role.
Forthe Manager role at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a professional services firm (experience in audits of financial serviceswould be an added advantage)
