The Opportunity

Our Alternative Delivery Model team, based in Bucharestand Cluj, provides Accounting and Tax Compliance services to clients across the global PwC Network.

We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Statements Accountantto join the fast-growing teamin Cluj, working with the statutory financial statements of international clients.

In this role you would be working to support PwC firms in Western Europe with their Client Accounting services.

What you will be doing

• Support and preparation of GAAP to STAT conversions (end-to-end process) including preparation of statutory financial statements under local GAAP legislation, acting as anadditionalpreparer within the SFS team.

• Use Workiva as the primary reporting and financial statement preparation tool. 

• Provide accounting support for client engagements, including journal entries, month-end closing activities, financial reporting, VAT-related processes, and other accounting operations.

• Perform ad hoc accounting analyses and account reconciliations 

• Manage administrative activities related to SFS projects,maintainingdocumentation and supporting project execution

• Establish andmaintainrelationships with client management.

• Continuallylearn andshare knowledge with other team members.

• Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.

• Manage performance andidentifyopportunities to improve our products and processes.

What we need from you

• You holdaUniversitydegree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.

• You have strong accounting knowledge and more than1 yearof relevant work experience in accounting and tax compliance.

• You have excellent computer knowledge plusthe abilityto work with special accountingERPs.

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, witha focuson execution.

• You have strong English language skills.

• You are eager to dive into new topics and to learn new skills.

• You have advanced written and verbal communication skills.

• You are highly adaptable and open to change.
