Senior Associate - Corporate Finance

We are currently looking for a Senior Associate with a dedicated focus on Corporate Finance Services to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support managers in advising on M&A strategic options, identifying/solicitingand negotiatingwithpotential buyers/sellersandperformingleadsell-side/buy-sidedeals advisoryservices  

• Research and analyse pertinent client, industry, and technical matters related to, as well as troubleshoot and derive creative solutions for, the following: 

• identifyingand compiling applicable third-party market researchdata;

• designing and completing background profiles of a target company, itscompetitorsand itsindustry;

• performing the preliminary analysis of target company financial and operationalperformance;

• analysingatarget company,marketor industry metrics; designing and owning key analyses in client deliverables; and

• collecting and preparingthenecessary data for market sizing or modelling. 

• Conduct quantitative analyses related to company valuations,preparefinancial models, andperformcomparative and pro forma analyses.

• Assistmanagers in providing guidance to associates

• Develop deals experience from exposure to a wide range of transactions.

• Participate in a comprehensive program of structured learning as well as on-the-job training to develop enhanced valuation and transaction support skills.

• Be exposed to a diverse range of international,nationaland local clients, allowing you to develop real industryexpertise.

• Work with senior team members on M&A projects and deal with senior personnel at client organisations.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need: 

• ABachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance(aMaster'sdegree isalsoan asset). 

• A minimumof twoyears working experience in M&A/corporate finance/private equity/investment (buy-side)/ investor relation and fundraising (sell-side) in fast-growing companieswith/without auditing. 

• Effective written and verbal business communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.

• A good commercial mindset with an eye for detail and market intelligence.

• Computerliteracy,particularly withsoftware applications such as Word,Exceland PowerPoint.

• A flexible workingstyleperseveranceattitude.

• Strong people skills and good team spirit.

• Project management skills andthecapabilitytoaccomplishtasks assignedontime.

• Professional qualifications, such as ACCA, CPA and CFA, are a plus.
