ETIC, Tax Operations Analyst - Associate

Key Responsibilities:

SDC Mobilisation & Operating Model

• Support knowledge transfer and training activities for new team members where required.
• Maintain a clear understanding of assigned processes, controls and tax operations requirements to ensure consistent delivery.

Stakeholder Management & tax operations Coordination

• Schedule various required catchup calls ie. Planning meeting, PBC alignment call, regular catchup calls.
• Liaise with onshore teams to clarify requirements where needed.
• Ensure timely resolution of queries per the agreed turnaround time.

Delivery Planning and Project Management

• Responsibility for PBC tax operations request list management, including tracking deadlines, monitoring ageing items, and escalating overdue requests.
• Track tax operations requests and assigned activities to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Update trackers and task status regularly to support progress monitoring.
• Support reporting activities by providing status updates, metrics, and completion information as requested.

Knowledge Transfer, Process Design and Continuous Improvement

• Follow structured instructions to complete tax operations support tasks accurately and consistently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardization, and quality.

Governance, Risk & Quality Management

• Identify missing information, documentation of gaps and potential inconsistencies, escalating them as appropriate.
• Maintain documentation and tax operations trails in line with agreed processes.
• Adhere to data privacy, confidentiality and information security requirements when handling client information.
• Participate in quality reviews and remediation activities to address identified issues.

Tax operations Delivery Oversight & Reporting

• Prepare tax operations support documentation based on predefined templates and formats.
• Collate and organize supporting data and evidence for tax operations requests.
• Perform data gathering, validation, and reconciliation activities to support tax operations procedures.
• Extract and compile information from ERP systems, reports, and source documentation as required.
• Support the preparation of confirmations and stock take processes in accordance with agreed tax operations requirements, timelines, and confirmed responsibilities.
• Conduct completeness and quality checks on documentation before submission to onshore tax operations teams and ensure timely submission of PBC requests to the auditor's platform.
• Ensure outputs are complete, accurate, and delivered in line with agreed timelines.
• Support management and coordination of tax operations evidence repositories, ensuring documents are correctly classified and stored.
• financial statement and tax operations adjustment support and coordination, including ensuring tax operations adjustment and IFRS-to-GAAP bridge updates are communicated where applicable.

• Skills & Experience:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Working knowledge of Tax operations processes is preferred.
• Basic accounting knowledge or relevant experience is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and standard Microsoft Office tools.
• Team player and ability to work as a part of a collaborative team structure.
