Job Description & Summary

Suggested Experience:

• 5–8 years of experience in project management, delivery coordination, tax operations support, managed services, shared services, or service center mobilization.
• Prior experience in tax operations delivery and coordination, offshore delivery models, or professional services environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

SDC Mobilisation & Operating Model

• Lead the initial setup of the SDC operating model for tax operations support.
• Define and maintain the overall mobilization plan, ensuring all workstreams, milestones, and deliverables are tracked.
• Review prior year tax operations support materials to understand scope, dependencies and key risks.
• Support resource planning, onboarding, and allocation activities for the SDC team.
• Support transition activities from mobilization into business-as-usual operations.

Stakeholder Management & tax operations Coordination

• Act as the primary coordination point between auditors, client, and PwC teams.
• Coordinate and schedule local stakeholder meetings to support mobilization
• Ensuring PBC alignment is maintained following  the initial PBC calls to be held.
• Facilitate issue resolution and drive actions to closure across multiple stakeholder groups withing an agreed turnaround time.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure delivery objectives are achieved.

Delivery planning and project management

• Establish and maintain a centralized tracker for activities, milestones, and dependencies.
• Monitor team progress against plan and proactively manage delivery risks and issues.
• Track KPIs, milestones, and service performance against agreed targets.

Knowledge Transfer, process design and continuous improvement

• Coordinate knowledge transfer sessions between onshore tax operations teams and SDC ETIC team.
• Develop clear process documentation and step-by-step instructions for SDC team members.
• Support creation and maintenance of a team dashboard for reporting and status tracking.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation.
• Promote effective knowledge sharing across delivery teams.

Governance, Risk & Quality Management

• Establish governance routines including project status meetings, risk reviews, and stakeholder reporting forums.
• Define quality control and review checkpoints to ensure consistent deliverables.
• Provide regular status updates for key stakeholders
• Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are appropriately tracked and managed.
• Adhere to data privacy, confidentiality and information security requirements when handling client information

Tax operations Delivery Oversight & Reporting

• Oversee tax operations adjustment process
• Support the preparation of executive updates and reporting.
• Coordinate entities requiring interim tax operations support and monitor delivery progress.
• Maintain timelines and the tax operations calendar.
• Support financial statements of governance activities through tax operations cycle closure.
• Provide delivery insights and progress reporting to leadership.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience setting up or mobilizing delivery teams or shared service centers.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear, structured instructions and processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in tax operations environments or supporting tax operations delivery is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, trackers, dashboards, and project reporting tools.
• Team player and ability to work as a part of a collaborative team structure.
