Manager Operational Tax - Withholding Tax reclaim (m/f/d)

Be a part of our team where you will:

• Work with multinational and local clients,mainly assetmanagers, insurance companies, privatebanksand institutional investors, and provide specialised tax support in the field of withholding tax reclaims and operational tax compliance.

• Manage the end-to-end withholding tax recovery process, including:

• Identification of reclaim opportunities based on Double Tax Treaties, EUlawand domestic regulations;

• Coordination of documentation collection with clients,custodiansand stakeholders;

• Filing claims with tax authorities and monitoring refunds;

• Preparation of reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients,participatingin meetings, leading discussions on reclaim strategies and supporting complex operational tax topics.

• Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives, including:

• Optimising and standardising tax reclaim processes;

• Supporting automation and technology-driven solutions.

• Support the leadership team to launch new initiatives and services related to WHT such as FASTER, digital filing, etc. 

• Be managing, supporting, developing a team of junior and senior collaborators.

Let’stalk about you. If you are / have:

• A university degree in economics, management,lawor taxation.

• At least 4+ years of experience within a tax advisory firm, financialinstitutionor specialised operational tax team with a strong focus on withholding tax reclaims and operational tax processes.

• Proven experience managing or supervising withholding tax reclaim operations end-to-end and working with international investors and financial institutions.

• Familiar with taxation of financial instruments.

• Strong knowledge of Double Tax Treaties and EU reclaim mechanisms, operational tax compliance and reporting, Taxation of financial instruments and investment structures.

• A strong interest in process optimisation, internalcontrolsand technology-driven transformation.

• supportive of the use of technology;

• a managerial experienceand you enjoy working in teams and;

• Fluent in English; French isrequiredand German would be considered an asset.
