The Role
Are you a current undergraduate or graduate student looking for a6 monthco-op opportunity to work across diverse data sources (e.g., customer attributes, transactional history, digital activity, phone call recordings, research surveys, etc.) to uncover key patterns to drive strategic decisions? Join a Data Science team within the AI Center of Excellence focused on using AI to improve customer financial wellbeing. We combine advanced machine learning with deep financial planningexpertiseto buildhighimpactsystems for personalized engagement, opportunity detection, andtaxefficientfinancial optimization.
WhatYou’llDo
Build, refine, and evaluate ML models for recommendations and financial insights.
Support development of agentic AI systems thatidentifycustomer financial opportunities.
Run experiments, conduct model diagnostics, and analyze performance.
Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and financial planning specialists.
WhatWe’reLooking For
Required
Pursuing a degree in CS, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Finance/FinTech, or similar
Strong Python skills (pandas, NumPy,scikitlearn)
Solid understanding of core ML concepts
Curiosity about financial planning and wealth management
Preferred
Experience withclassical AI/ML and LLM prompt engineering
Exposure to agentic AI or reasoning frameworks
SQL andlargedatasetexperience
Strong communicationandproblemsolvingskills
