We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Investments team. This role will be based in Toronto, Canada. The is a hybrid role that requires at least three days a week in the office.

Investment management professionals oversee portfolio performance and exposure for clients who have outsourced their investment management activities to Marsh.

These investment professionals analyze capital market returns, economic activity and industry trends to help clients obtain their financial objectives and mitigate investment risk. An Investment Management Specialist is an established, independent contributor (who can work individually and as part of a team), whose work has a direct impact on client investment outcomes.

We will count on you to:

• Provide analytical support on asset allocation and total portfolio construction items.

• Contribute to day-to-day client portfolio management activities including monitoring, rebalancing and trading support.

• Develop commentary and performance analytics for investment reporting at the total portfolio / multi-asset level.

• Participate in due diligence meetings with investment managers and support the investment team’s research efforts.

• Provide broad analytical support for fund reviews and deep dives.

• Develop commentary and performance analytics for investment reporting at the single asset class level.

• Support prospecting efforts by developing materials that effectively position our investment solutions in support of sales and client retention.

• Respond to requests from client service and sales professionals regarding our investment solutions and capabilities.

What you need to have:

• 1 - 3 years of investment management experience

• Passionate about investing and problem solving

• Knowledge of capital markets, asset allocation and portfolio construction

• Technology proficient (e.g., Bloomberg, eVestment, FactSet, Barra, Style Analytics)

• A self-starter, able to work independently and in a team environment

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $84,000 to $126,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
