Palantir Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

Perform implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance, and support for Agile software development to modernize systems. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development
• 3+ years of experience working with Palantir Foundry to build, enhance, or deploy data-driven solutions
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
• Experience writing source code for new applications, or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems withing a collaborative and cross-functional team
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 7+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience working in mission-oriented analytics or logistics-based data environments
• Experience with data modeling, ontology mapping, or data visualization in Foundry
• Experience with AI or ML model integration such as integrating with Foundry applications
• Experience building React applications
• Experience with UI/UX design
• Experience with Navy readiness and resource management
• Experience as a development manager or with technical team leadership
• Knowledge of Foundry security models, access control, and compliance frameworks

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
