Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to join our Tax Team as a Tax Specialist. This role is responsible for managing corporate income tax compliance, providing tax advisory support, and contributing to transfer pricing and tax-related projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax regulations while partnering with stakeholders across the business to support strategic and operational tax matters. This position offers excellent exposure to a wide range of tax disciplines, including corporate taxation, transfer pricing, and advisory work. Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete submission of tax returns in compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
Provide tax advisory support to business units on transactions, business initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and tax authorities on tax matters.
Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
Support tax-related projects, and strategic assignments.
Monitor developments in tax legislation, assess potential business impacts, and recommend appropriate actions.
Maintain organized records of tax filings and correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and/or a recognized professional qualification.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory.
Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
