JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support management reporting, including the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results, forecasts, and plan analysis for the Commercial Banking portfolio. 

• Assist with financial analytics and variance analysis by consolidating information into clear insights, helping identify risks, opportunities, and changes against forecast or plan. 

• Participate in developing and enhancing financial models, reporting templates, methodologies, and frameworks to support ongoing reporting, audit, and ad-hoc analysis. 

• Extract and organize financial and business driver information to help prepare presentations that communicate results and key messages to Finance and business partners. 

• Work with Finance partners and other business areas to track productivity, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements. 

• Build foundational knowledge of Commercial Banking, internal reporting tools, and Commercial Loans portfolio drivers while maintaining awareness of internal and external business trends. 

• Contribute to a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, productivity, innovation, creativity, analysis, and advice. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
• You are enrolled or plan on pursuing your CPA designation OR are committed to pursuing a career in Finance Transformation
• You demonstrate both financial acumen combined with a strong orientation toward curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• This position is a 4-month work term and will commence January 4th to April 23rd, 2027.
