Director, PathWise Actuarial Implementation and AI-Enabled Process Transformation The Life Solutions division at Aon is seeking a Director to lead large-scale PathWise implementation projects. This role also supports AI-enabled process transformation initiatives for life and annuity insurers across North America. This client-facing role combines actuarial expertise, implementation leadership, and technology-enabled transformation to help insurers modernize modelling, reporting, workflow automation, AI-enabled systems, and operational workflows. The Director will work within Aon Life Solutions, part of Aon’s Reinsurance Strategy and Technology Group to translate business needs into practical implementation plans, scalable operating models, and measurable delivery outcomes. What the day will look like Implementation and Client Delivery Lead and support large-scale PathWise implementation projects for life and annuity insurers across North America. Handle key implementation workstreams, including model migration, data integration, testing, reconciliation, workflow design, documentation, training, and production deployment. Translate client business objectives and current-state processes into clear delivery plans, target-state solutions, and implementation roadmaps. Develop and migrate actuarial models and production processes for valuation, pricing, financial reporting, capital, ALM, and risk management use cases. Support delivery governance, issue resolution, risk management, collaborator communication, post-implementation stabilization, and client knowledge transfer. AI-Enabled Process Transformation and Innovation Identify, prioritize, and continuously refine opportunities to use automation and AI-enabled capabilities to improve actuarial modelling, reporting, reconciliation, documentation, and analysis processes across the PathWise lifecycle. Collaborate closely with the PathWise AI and development teams to translate business difficulties into clear AI use cases, feature requests, and improvements. Help clients redesign legacy actuarial workflows into more efficient, scalable, governed, and technology-enabled operating models. Contribute to reusable implementation assets, process transformation playbooks, documentation templates, workflow designs, and AI-enabled delivery accelerators. Lead or support pilots of new PathWise AI features, capturing user feedback and performance metrics, and consolidating insights into actionable recommendations for the PathWise AI roadmap Promote responsible and controlled use of AI-enabled capabilities, including review, validation, traceability, documentation, and governance, and contribute to standard guidance on AI-enabled workflows Business Development and Market Support Support PathWise growth in the North American life and annuity market through client solutioning, demonstrations (including AI-enabled capabilities), proposals, implementation estimates, and project planning. Partner with senior leaders in client discussions on actuarial modernization, implementation strategy, process automation, AI-enabled transformation, and business value. Develop proof-of-concept materials and presentations on PathWise capabilities, implementation guidelines, and emerging insurance industry issues. Experience identifying and shaping AI-enabled transformation opportunities (e.g., automation, analytics, AI-assisted development, or generative AI applications) in actuarial or financial services processes, including working with development teams to refine and implement new features Knowledge of programming, data workflows, Python, APIs, cloud infrastructure, or automation concepts is preferred.
