About the Role

As a Home & Investment Lending Assistant in our Retail Banking, you’ll play a key role in working with the Home & Investment Lending Manager to support customers in saving for, buying and owning their own home or investment property. 

You will coach customers through each step of the journey, ensure their experience with ANZ is seamless and maintain relationships with existing customers. You will be passionate about delivering on our Customer Promises to ensure customers are strong advocates for ANZ.

Role Type: Permanent

Role Location: Flexible – can be based anywhere in South East QLD

Work Hours: Full Time (40 hours/week) 

What will your day look like?

As a Home & Investment Lending Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work with the Home & Investment Lending Manager to support customers in saving for, buying, and owning their own home or investment property

• Coach customers through each step of the journey, • Act as a mentor to other members of the branch, coach them, and enjoy inspiring them to provide the best possible customer experience

• Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure customers’ experience with ANZ is seamless

• Deliver on our Customer Promises to ensure customers are strong advocates for ANZ 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

• Role model strong customer focus, preferably with home lending and retail banking experience.

• Financially savvy and active user and promoter of technology.

• Ability to multi-task, highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.

• Proactive, shows initiative with strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve problems.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment High level of attention to detail is essential.
