Job Description

As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a technically strong developer to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building and maintaining our Global Securities Finance platform – benefiting front and middle office users in multiple time zones. 

Key Responsibilities

• Development of the core in-house platforms, both on-prem and cloud (AWS)
• Owning specific projects or issues from start to finish
• Working with colleagues and management to ensure appropriate prioritization
• Unit testing, assisting with user testing, and working closely with the support and release management team to provide robust and performant solutions

Qualifications/ Experience

• Strong .NET skills, with server and ideally client-side experience
• Follows SOLID development principles, with experience of supportive frameworks/libraries
• Strong SQL knowledge, preferably MS SQL Server and/or MySQL
• Understanding of Securities Lending is desirable, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area, e.g. Equity swaps
• Proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains and to improve code quality
