Job Summary

Are you fascinated by high-paced algorithmic trading, data science and complex engineering systems? The Execution Solutions team sits at the heart of our European Electronic Trading business, working closely with clients, Sales, Trading, Engineering and Quantitative Research to improve our platform’s performance. As an Analyst/Associate in our dynamic team, you will work directly with some of the most sophisticated investors in the world like asset managers, hedge funds and systematic quant funds, helping them understand and improve how their trading strategies perform. You will dig into large datasets, structured and unstructured, uncover hidden trends and turn them into actionable recommendations for clients to run live experiments on. You will also contribute to researching and publishing differentiated in-depth analysis of liquidity as European market structure evolves.

Job Responsibilities

• Independently perform Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) to monitor clients’ performance, identify improvements to existing products, present data-driven recommendations at client reviews and maintain clients’ technical setups and configurations.
• Know the ins and outs of our algorithms, trading systems and proprietary trading signals to showcase the value of our product offering.
• Improve and expand existing tooling for data analysis and trend detection as new needs and use cases arise, leveraging AI and our automation frameworks.
• Research how liquidity and market structure evolve across European markets, and turn that into thought-leadership content clients can rely on.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A genuine interest in markets and equity electronic/algo trading – Europe a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from large, raw datasets.
• Hands-on coding experience – KDB/q, Python or SQL preferred, but strong ability in any programming language is welcome.
• Ambitious, with excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Familiarity with business intelligence software QlikView, Tableau or Power BI
• Prior exposure to TCA, European market microstructure or other electronic execution concepts.
• Backgrounds we welcome: finance, but also physics, maths, computer science or engineering.
