Financial Crime Compliance, Suspicious Activity Monitoring and Reporting – EMEA Risk and Advisory, Analyst, Warsaw

Financial Crime Compliance

Financial Crime Compliance team (“FCC”) has primary responsibility for the execution of the firm’s enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering, anti-bribery, and government sanctions compliance programs and, among other things, performs enhanced due diligence and government sanctions screening, as well as surveillance and investigations designed to identify potential terrorist financing, money laundering, bribery, market abuse, or other suspicious activity. Within FCC, Suspicious Activity Monitoring & Reporting (SAMR) is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and executing upon the firm's global suspicious activity monitoring and reporting program, including policies, procedures, and controls, across all business, legal entities, and jurisdictions in which the firm operates or does business.

Job Description

SAMR EMEA Risk and Advisory supports the development of policies, governance reporting, regulatory change initiatives, audit coordination, and process improvement activities. The role works closely with FCC leadership and key stakeholders to enhance governance frameworks, support regulatory compliance, and improve operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of SAMR policies, procedures and governance documentation.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on SAMR programs, processes, and controls.
• Prepare management information, dashboards, executive reporting, and governance committee materials.
• Analyze program metrics, identify trends, and provide insights on emerging financial crime risks and regulatory developments.
• Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation activities, including coordinating responses to information requests.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, workflow enhancements, reporting automation, and control effectiveness reviews.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree.
• 0-3 years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance, AML, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Legal or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across global teams.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• High integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
