IT Developer / Senior IT Developer for GCOP Transaction Reporting (permanent position)

We are looking for a skilled (Senior) IT Developer to join our GCOP Transaction Reporting area on a full-time employment agreement. In this role, you will help build and maintain solutions that support regulatory reporting towards regulators and other financial institutions.

About our team

Meet the Trading Ops SWD reporting Team. Our role is to build high-quality post-trade platforms that support Nordea customers. As the IT Developer, you will play an important role in shaping and developing the future technology landscape within Capital Markets Technology.

Our agile team is responsible for delivering technical solutions that handles reporting of transactions, settlements and positions information to tax authorities, central banks, FSA’s, trade repositories and other authorities. In addition to keeping the existing reporting running and developing new reports according to increasing external requirements, we are also on a journey to simplify the system architecture and to move data sourcing and processing towards the strategic tools and architecture.

Main responsibilities in this role: 

• Acting as a key member of one of our agile teams.
• Designing and coding robust, well-tested and clean solutions using modern tools and technologies.
• Working mainly with technologies you know well, while also stepping into new technology areas when needed to help the team deliver on its commitments.
• Understanding regulatory needs and working closely with business stakeholders to shape the best solutions, where your engineering input will be highly valued.

You will join highly skilled developers working across different agile teams. We learn from each other and grow together as a team and as individuals.

Your background and skills include: 

• 3+ years of Java development experience (Java 8+).
• Experience with Kafka, Oracle SQL, Docker, and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with Angular, Spring Boot and Gradle.
• Linux and Bash scripting skills.
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Bamboo is a plus).
• Understanding of SSL/TLS and certificate management.
• Fluency in English.
