About the role:
Responsible to deliver aircraft Maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checksanddutieswithintheirauthorityasaLicensedAircraftEngineer.Toprovidespecializedknowledge skills and expertise and require ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation.
Some of the tasks include:
Planassignedactivitiesinaneffectiveandefficientmanner,operateequipmentorusetoolingrelative to assignedtasks within framework of Qatar Airways procedures.
Reviewsworkprocedures,standardsandproposesimprovementswhereproceduresarenotappropriate to ensure work processes are effective.
ResponsibleforthefinalreleaseofworkaccomplishedbytheMechanics.Ensuretasksareperformedto meet company/Customerstandard and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects.
- EnsuredeliverystandardofQR/customerproductsaremet.Aircraftmaintenancetasksare accomplishedinaccordancewithlaiddownpoliciesandprocedures.Providesatisfactorysupportto internal and external customers.
- Implementsolutionstotechnicalproblemswithinhisrangeofhisauthority,andensurethataircraftsor components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements.
- ProvideguidanceandoronthejobtrainingtotheTechniciansandAircraftMechanicsreportingtothis position.
- Whensupervisingthewokofothers,ensuringthatacceptablestandardofworkmanshipandqualityare maintained and the correct tools are employed to accomplish the task.
- Performotherdepartmentdutiesrelatedtohis/herpositionasdirectedbytheHeadoftheDepartment.

About you
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance orTrade orvocation aircraft maintenance qualification orDegree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering + holds minimum1full QR main fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals.
Internal:Minimum3yearjobrelatedaircraftcertifyingexperienceas EN.00.

- Maintenancetaskrequirements.
- Determiningthekindoftoolsandequipmentneededtodoajob.
