Join our Credit Risk team based in either Sydney or Melbourne with responsibility for transactions supporting Corporate and Institutional transactions from our Business Banking Division.

You will work as part of a team that analyses new and existing loans for Corporate and Institutional Banking clients.
As a credit risk senior analyst/manager, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyse transactions with a view to approval, including conducting financial analysis, structure, diligence and model review. You will work with the deal team and business stakeholders to deliver prudent but commercial outcomes in an efficient manner.
This role will also provide opportunity to obtain a Delegated Lending Authority and exercise decisions on SME, Commercial and other Corporate transactions (cashflow and property-backed), as well as strategic initiatives to enhance our credit risk frameworks, such as transforming credit frameworks, assessing portfolio quality and emerging risks, and working on regulatory initiatives.
- Prior experience in credit risk management in business lending (cash flow and/or property-backed lending), with experience lending to corporate or institutional counterparties
- Ability to interpret financial statements and critically analyse transactions in the context of business strategy, risk appetite, sector research and macroeconomic developments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations to deliver prudent but commercial outcomes
