Job Summary:
As a Fund Accounting Associate (AVP)  in the Fund Accounting team, you will oversee the NAV production process and help ensure accurate and timely NAV calculations in line with established procedures. You will partner closely with colleagues and managers to investigate and resolve issues to completion. You will collaborate across functions, including Investor Relations, Compliance, Internal Audit, Private Equity and Real Estate, and second line of defense partners. You will contribute to a strong control environment and help evolve the end-to-end NAV operating model. You will deliver a client-focused experience by building effective working relationships with stakeholders, clients, and third parties.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily, weekly, ad hoc, and monthly NAV production and review cycles to support timely and accurate delivery.
• Calculate NAVs in line with established procedures and quality standards.
• Investigate and validate NAV movements, identifying drivers and resolving breaks.
• Partner across functions to coordinate inputs, manage inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely, documented manner.
• Maintain a defined control environment and ensure adherence to required processes and procedures.
• Identify risks and implement remediation actions to mitigate inherent and residual risk.
• Contribute to ownership of the end-to-end NAV operating model and associated governance.
• Support team resource planning while coordinating with wider teams to meet production deadlines.
• Assist with client due diligence visits and internal and external audit reviews.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, third parties, and other business groups across JPMorganChase.
• Improve processes and workflows to enhance accuracy, reduce redundancy, and strengthen risk controls.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Demonstrated experience performing fund accounting activities at an associate level, including NAV production and oversight.
• Knowledge of alternative investment fund structures and valuation concepts.
• Ability to interpret and apply the treatment of complex financial instruments within NAV calculations and NAV drivers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate and explain NAV movements.
• Strong client service mindset, including anticipating needs and building effective working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Risk and control focus, including attention to detail and adherence to established processes and procedures.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across multiple sites.
• Strong organizational skills with a consistent focus on quality and precision.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Degree in a business-related discipline.
• Experience supporting alternative funds across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience partnering with Investor Relations, Compliance, Internal Audit, Private Equity and Real Estate, and second line of defense teams.
• Experience supporting internal and external audit reviews and client due diligence activities.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and workflows to reduce risk and increase accuracy.
• Experience supporting team capacity planning or coordinating work across broader teams.
