Key Accountabilities:
- Manage operational delivery of R2R processes, coordinating with AP and AR ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to timelines.
- Act as the first point of contact for issue resolution, escalations, and exception handling in finance operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, accounting standards, and applicable statutory regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and IT to support end-to-end finance activities.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, ERP enhancements, and process standardization projects.
- Coordinate with auditors (internal/external) to support audit processes and provide timely responses to audit queries.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions and approvals
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Shipping background is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work in shifts as per business requirement, including night shift if required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to R2R and good understanding of AP, AR processes.
- Experience in working in a shared services or multinational environment is desirable.
- Prior involvement in process improvement or ERP implementation projects is an added advantage.
