Associate Highway Design Engineer (UAE National)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Highway Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to become an integral part of a respected and ambitious team, and the role will provide every opportunity for you to make your mark and influence the continuing sustainable growth of Parsons in Dubai and further afield.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform a variety of highway engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques for road and highway design and analyses within road discipline.

• The Highway Engineer at this level is in a developmental mode, being trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures.

• Assignment may be to a structured rotational program which would include experience in Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management, as well as through several disciplines in Engineering. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications.

• Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or any relevant Engineering discipline.

• Minimum 1+ years of work experience in highway design/engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Basic engineering knowledge in other engineering fields such as electrical, mechanical, civil, or any others.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Microstation/OpenRoads, and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is also required.
