About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle BRM Billing Operations professional to provide Level 2 operational support for Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) services. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability and performance of critical billing operations, including rating, charging, billing cycles, invoicing, payments, collections and revenue assurance activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, improve operational processes, enhance automation capabilities and support reliable service delivery across billing platforms.

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 operational support for Oracle BRM billing services, ensuring service availability and operational stability. 
• Act as a technical escalation point for billing, charging, invoicing, payment, adjustment, collection and dunning-related issues. 
• Troubleshoot BRM processes, utilities, batch jobs, interfaces, pipelines, queues and database-related operational issues. 
• Coordinate billing calendars, pre-billing checks, bill-run execution, invoice generation and post-billing validation activities. 
• Monitor event processing, reconciliation activities, failed billing transactions and downstream system integrations. 
• Lead technical analysis and restoration activities for major incidents and support root cause investigations. 
• Manage Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request activities in line with ITIL practices and SLA commitments. 
• Develop and enhance operational automation using Shell scripting, SQL/PLSQL, APIs and approved orchestration tools. 
• Improve monitoring, alerting, observability and proactive issue detection across billing platforms. Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, recovery procedures and audit evidence to support governance requirements.

Who you are

• Experienced in Telecom IT, BSS or enterprise application support with hands-on Oracle BRM production support exposure. 
• Knowledgeable in telecom billing, rating, charging, invoicing, payments, adjustments, collections, reconciliation and revenue assurance processes. 
• Skilled in Oracle BRM architecture, administration and operational troubleshooting. 
• Proficient in Unix/Linux administration, Shell scripting and Oracle SQL/PLSQL. 
• Experienced in troubleshooting batch processing, application integrations, database issues and production incidents. 
• Familiar with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Kibana, Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Zabbix or equivalent platforms. 
• Understanding of ITIL-based service management processes and SLA-driven operational environments. 
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving capabilities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Oracle BRM and ITIL certifications are desirable.
