EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Transaction Strategy and Execution team works closely with international real estate and infrastructure professionals to support leading clients across a wide range of real estate, capital projects, and transformation initiatives.

The opportunity

Our team is one of the largest real estate and infrastructure advisory groups, supporting private and public sector clients throughout the lifecycle of complex real estate and capital projects. Combining deep sector expertise with a global network and local market knowledge, we help clients successfully deliver development, construction, transformation, and operational improvement programs.

We are currently looking for a Junior Consultant with German to support real estate project management, project delivery, and advisory engagements. This role is ideal for candidates with an academic or professional background in architecture, engineering, construction, industrial engineering, real estate, or related disciplines who are interested in developing their careers within the broader real estate and built environment sector.

 Your key responsibilities

• Support real estate projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through execution and project close-out.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of real estate, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Support project management activities including planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Conduct technical assessments, project reviews, and feasibility analyses.
• Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, technical specifications, project plans, and cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress, risks, budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and project teams.
• Support business and operational transformation projects within the real estate and infrastructure sectors.
• Participate in project meetings, workshops, and site visits when required.
• Prepare presentations, reports, analyses, and client-facing documentation.
• Stay informed about industry trends, project delivery methodologies, and market developments.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

• Architecture
• Civil Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Construction Management
• Real Estate
• Or a related technical discipline+2 years’ of professional experience in real estate construction sector.

• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Ability to travel and work across EU as per business requirements.
• Willingness to travel according to project requirements.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience supporting real estate development, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to project management, project controls, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, or stakeholder management activities.
• Understanding of real estate project lifecycles and project delivery processes.
• Knowledge of industry-standard project management tools and methodologies.
