About the Role
- Oversee accounting and financial operations for Western Europe (France, Benelux, Iberia) in close collaboration with the Sofia-based accounting hub
- Ensure timely and accurate month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closings, including balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, including IFRS mappings and adjustments
- Act as key contact for auditors and respond to HQ requests on reporting, accounting, and tax matters
- Coordinate local tax compliance (corporate tax, VAT, other local taxes) with external advisors, ensuring adherence to group guidelines and local requirements
- Contribute to the harmonization, improvement, and automation of finance and tax processes across Europe
- Partner closely with FP&A, Billing, operational teams, shared services, and local stakeholders to ensure accurate financial treatment and effective collaboration
About You
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm (audit, accounting, or advisory), with strong foundations in accounting and financial statements
- Exposure to multinational environments and/or IFRS is a strong advantage
- Comfortable working with complex business and financial flows, balancing group standards with local requirements
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of Portuguese/French GAAP, accounting and tax regulations is a strong plus
- Proficiency in Excel
- Clear, professional communication skills and fluency in English (French/Portuguese is considered an advantage)
