OVERALL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Does (The tasks / responsibilities that the role performs to address requirements in Key Result Areas)
Perform credit risk management functions on commercial lending portfolios
Lead and develop a group of B2B portfolio risk analysts
Recommend policy changes to address commercial lending portfolio deterioration
Track performance against benchmark and measure impact of implemented strategies
Identify shifts in market/merchant behavior to create growth opportunities
Displays(The Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors indicating how tasks / responsibilities will be performed)
Knowledge of credit risk principles and data analytics to influence data driven decisions in managing portfolio quality
SQL and data management skills should be helpful in ensuring efficiency in tasks and in assisting other teams
Knowledge on financing policies and regulations.
Delivers(specific outputs / tangible results produced by the role; resources responsible for)
Identify potential issues in the portfolio and engage necessary parties to minimize impact
Recommend strategies/actions to support business goals while ensuring portfolio quality is maintained
Generate credit risk related reports to monitor portfolio quality
Perform adhoc analysis as required

Internal Customers: Role ensures that business goals are met by increasing good receivables and maintaining profitability. Balancing risk and reward ensures that business growth is sustainable and is aligned with providing financial services to all markets.
External Customers: Data driven approach helps in identifying the right product (right pricing, right loan amount, right construct) for various market segments to help customers in addressing their financial needs.

By making sure that financial losses are kept within budget and growth opportunities are maximized, financials of the products should be kept at a healthy state.
Process(How does the role contribute to improvement of internal processes and increase efficiency?)
Knowledge of coding and handling large amounts of data contributes to minimizing having manual approaches and having processes that can keep up with business demands.
People(How does the role contribute to organization culture and self-learning and growth?)
The role will have multiple exposure to various teams within the lending space and the overall GCash environment. Working on lending strategy will be in close coordination with product teams, operations, credit analytics, and the leadership team. This presents a wide learning opportunity to expand knowledge beyond credit risk and appreciate how the business runs as a whole.
