Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Case Manager – Long Term Management to join our Workers’ Compensation team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of complex and long-term claims, working closely with injured workers, employers, treating health professionals and rehabilitation providers to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Manage a portfolio of long-term and complex Workers’ Compensation claims
Develop tailored recovery, treatment and return-to-work strategies
Support injured workers experiencing complex medical, vocational or psychosocial barriers
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Review medical information and identify opportunities to improve recovery and work capacity
Ensure claims are managed in line with relevant legislation, scheme requirements and organisational policies
Maintain accurate claim records while meeting key service and regulatory requirements
About You
You will bring:
Previous experience managing long-term and/or complex Workers’ Compensation claims
Strong knowledge of the relevant Workers’ Compensation scheme and claims processes
Experience supporting injured workers with complex recovery and return-to-work needs
Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
The ability to manage sensitive or challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
