Associate Manager, Specimen Management

Job Summary:

The Associate Manager, Specimen Management leads a team and oversees daily activities, operations, and performance to ensure departmental objectives are achieved to established quality standards. This role supports department growth, operational planning, process improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the hiring, training, performance management, development, mentoring, and coaching of team members
• Establish daily operational objectives and coordinate workflows, resources, and staff coverage
• Monitor operational metrics and implement improvements that enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency
• Maintain quality control systems, standard operating procedures, training records, position descriptions, and other required documentation
• Promote compliance with company procedures, regulatory guidelines, health and safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards
• Support capacity planning, budget planning, equipment purchase justifications, audit preparation, and incident trend analysis
• Partner with global counterparts to improve process consistency and serve as a point of contact for internal and external client inquiries
  

What We Are Looking For:

• A bachelor's degree is required
• 4 years experience in Specimen Management or related clinical lab services function
• Strong understanding of specimen management operations, methods, quality control systems, and procedures
• Knowledge of study set-up and cross-functional and system dependencies
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $58,800.00 - $122,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
