Lead, Compliance Operations (12-month contract)
This role reports to the Director, Compliance Operations and supports compliance monitoring, risk identification, and process improvement initiatives across the organization.This position is important because it helps ensure the organization meets its regulatory and policy obligations through effective compliance oversight, monitoring, and reporting.In this role, you will help strengthen the compliance framework by executing monitoring activities, improving processes, supporting due diligence requirements, and delivering meaningful compliance insights.
You willbe responsible for:
Perform assessment, coordinating with the Global Compliance team when needed, of the applicable compliance designation for new or changed roles within the organization.
Administer the mandatory compliance training programs and associated monitoring to enable our key training activities.
Execute the monitoring and testing of various compliance activities todemonstratecompliance with the regulatory compliance monitoring program, establish insights, action asneededand prepare meaningful reporting for management.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance or similar functions.
University degree or college program graduate in business administration, finance or an analytical discipline such as statistics,mathematicsor engineering.
Advanced analytical abilities and critical thinking skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly,conciselyand accurately (verbal/written).
Strongpeopleskills with an ability to work across multiple teams within the organization.
Intermediate to advanced user of Excel,SharePoint,andWord.
PreferredSkills & Experience
Demonstrated ability to map and analyze business processes andidentifyopportunities for improvement to align with complianceobjectives;
Independently prioritizes work andisable to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
Demonstrated ability to support strategicobjectivesand monitor progress using effective controls and success criteria.
Initiative-taker and comfortable working both collaborativelyandindependently.
