Group Finance delivers high-quality reporting, analysis and decision support to our stakeholders. We are currently embarking on a major transformation of our finance infrastructure, creating a unique opportunity to influence the future of accounting and reporting. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in shaping how finance delivers insight, control and value across the organisation.

About the role:

As a Senior Financial Controller in Parent Bank Accounting & Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality accounting, financial and regulatory reporting for SEB AB while helping design the future finance operating model and accounting infrastructure of the Parent Bank. We are implementing an accounting hub solution, replacing our legacy systems and transforming our way of working.

This role includes:

Work closely with our development teams to build our new accounting hub infrastructure, define and coordinate business requirements and help shape the target state architecture and processes.

Improve and future-proof our ways of working and key processes while helping define our target operating model.

Driving the change and development agenda, both setting requirements and implementing global initiatives.

Take ownership of complex accounting, reporting and process-related matters, driving issues from analysis to implementation.

Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders across SEB's divisions and international sites.

Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closing of SEB AB, including financial and regulatory reporting.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

A master’s degree in business administration, Finance, or equivalent.

Experience from implementing accounting hub solutions.

Several years of experience within accounting and financial reporting in a banking or regulated financial environment.

Proven ability to drive change and development initiatives, from setting requirements to implementation.

Experience working in cross‑functional and international settings.

Strong analytical skills, sound judgement, and the confidence to take ownership.

Fluency in English (Swedish is an advantage, but not a requirement).

As a person, you are structured, proactive, and collaborative. You communicate clearly, can challenge constructively, and you are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
