Opportunity snapshot:

The Head of Super & Wealth Sales role will be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne office and has the overall responsibility to lead, manage and own the planning, activity, strategic and commercial management of new business sales. The role is also responsible for leadership of the Super & Wealth segment sales team.

This role is focused on a range of products with the portfolio consisting of:

• Superannuation and Master Trust administration and related software services.
• Wealth management and investment platform administration and related software services.
• Services and solutions to financial advisors in Australia

What You Will Get To Do:

• Responsible for the local segment sales strategy, building and executing against a sales plan to deliver profitable revenue growth.
• Leads the revenue forecasting process for Super & Wealth Australia, working with Finance to ensure an update accurate view on expected sales revenues from new business.
• Responsible for executive relationships and stakeholder management within the new business pipeline.
• Contributes to the development of local marketing campaigns and strategy.
• Manage own individual deal pipeline while coaching and leading the sales team
• Lead the Super & Wealth sales team to achieve the financial targets for Australia.
• Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs, to effectively position SS&C
• Ensure the sales team has well-developed plans aligned with the region’s strategy and business plan to meet the revenue goals.
• Responsible for executing sales strategies for target products/solutions, to build a strong qualified pipeline of new opportunities and convert them into profitable business relationships.
• Responsible for the well-being, growth and career development of the Super & Wealth sales team, working with HR to ensure high employee engagement.
• Ensures all Super & Wealth sales proposals are commercially viable and achieve required solution margins.
• Leads Super & Wealth RFP processes and ensures high quality submissions.
• Ensure a detailed understanding of client and prospect business, products, strategy, requirements and understand the impact on SS&C’s service offering.
• Achieve Year on Year Growth and individuals / team sales targets through understanding the financial drivers of stakeholders.
• Lead new business proposal processes through a deep understanding of SS&C’s products, services and technologies and how these can add value to a client's business.
• Lead all commercial and contractual sales relationships.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proven track record in sales, hitting individual targets and winning new names.
• Proven track record leading a team to achieve targets and execute on sales strategy
• Strong network within the superannuation, wealth management and financial advice industry.
• Proven executive stakeholder management.
• Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy.
• Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory environment.
• A good understanding of the client service model, business strategy, structure and product offering.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good verbal reasoning and numeric skills.

What You Will Bring:

• 10+ Year’s sales and client relationship management experience.
• Proven track record in sales leadership experience.
• Detailed knowledge of Superannuation, Wealth Management and Financial Advice and associated services.
• Experience working with technology and outsourced administration solutions.
