Business Overview
The Group Sales Division's Business Strategy Planning Department is an organization that comprehensively and strategically promotes back-office operations to support sales activities. We drive solutions for corporate clients, including telecommunications services provided by Rakuten Mobile, as well as services that promote operational efficiency and digital transformation (DX).

Department Overview
The Corporate Planning Department consists of the Business Management Section, and Business Operations Group. It is an organization that manages and operates key business metrics, including business strategy, business administration, and profitability assessment.
The role of the Business Promotion Group is to handle operational-centered business management tasks, such as expense management and procurement for the entire business division, various accounting processes, management accounting, budget-versus-actual management, and the creation of expense P&Ls.
Corporate business is a key growth area for the mobile segment, and this department plays a vital role in providing performance analysis and forecast reports to executive management.
We collaborate not only across departments within the business division but also with specialized departments such as the Business Planning, Accounting, Procurement, and Finance departments. Delivering a swift and appropriate approach to corporate customer needs in the mobile business is critical.
As numerous projects proceed simultaneously and aggressively, it is essential for management decision-making to grasp the overall business landscape and perform proper expense budget-versus-actual management while maintaining a focus on profitability.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in corporate planning, business management, or management accounting, or those who are highly motivated to take on these challenges.

Position:

Position Details
To grasp the flow of expenses for the entire division, you will handle budget-versus-actual management, expense recording, and management accounting tasks, based on procurement and payment operations.
Furthermore, based on the P&L of each department or service, you will conduct expense optimization assessments and analysis, and propose improvements.

Specific Responsibilities
- General procurement and payment operations
- Monthly expense recording
- Creation of business division P&L expense budgets and budget-versus-actual management
- Weekly and monthly expense P&L forecast management
- Identifying issues from performance data analysis and proposing improvements
- Information coordination with other departments such as Procurement and Accounting
- Creating output materials (in English and Japanese) using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

Work Environment
Department (Business Management Section): 18 members / Group: 7 members
- The Business Management Section is center-focused on young employees, including many new graduates.
Backgrounds: Telecommunications, Accounting, Operations, New graduates

Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of full-time experience in administrative management
- Basic PC proficiency and relevant operational processing speed
- Ability to manage progress and execute tasks while multitasking
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and with a sense of speed
- Ability to collaborate smoothly within a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with related departments
- English proficiency: TOEIC score of 600 or higher (or equivalent qualification)

Desired Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping
- Experience in accounting practice, management accounting, or the telecommunications industry
- Strong ability to meet deadlines while managing progress
- Ability to set goals, solve problems, and analyze bottlenecks
- A perspective that constantly seeks points for operational improvement and a hypothesis-driven mindset
- Logical communication skills
- Ability to create output materials using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
