Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-onexpertisein building andmaintainingrobust data solutions. The role focuses on designing, developing, andoptimizingETL workflows usingInformatica, StrongOracle PL/SQLdevelopment skillsalong withDevSecOpsand working with Generative AI development toolsto support complex data processing needs. The idealcandidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, reliable data pipelines that power reporting, analytics, and business operations within a reinsuranceteam in Hyderabad, India.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows in Informatica to load data from multiple source systems
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
Analyze business and data requirements and translate them into scalabletechnical data solutions
Performing data mapping, transformation logic design, and data validation to ensure high data quality
Tune ETL jobs and database queries for performance, scalability, and reliability
Work with large datasets related to Reinsurance
Monitor and support ETL jobs, perform root cause analysis, and resolve data issues quickly.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, DBAs, and reporting teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for version control and release management
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 8 or more years of experience in application software solution development
5+years of experiencein data engineering or ETL development roles
Strong hands-on experience with InformaticaPowerCenterfor building and maintaining ETL workflows
Advancesproficiencyin Oracle PL/SQL, including procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning
Expertisein complex SQL development, query optimization, and indexing strategies
Experience withdata integration across multiple source systems (databases, flat files, etc.)
Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g.,Autosys, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in Agile or iterative development environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams
Nice to Have Skills
Experience in Reinsurance domain
Knowledge ofProCedeor Similar reinsurance administration systems
Exposure to financial data, policy systems, or claims data
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
ExperienceleveragingAI/ML tools or automation techniques to improve data quality, streamline ETL processes, oroptimizedata operations
Exposure to scripting or automation using Python, Shell, or similar tools to enhance dataengineering workflows
