Senior Software Engineer (Java ,PySpark and AWS )

What success looks like in this role:

An ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Python, AWS Cloud, Microservices, and Data Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting cloud-native applications, REST APIs, event-driven services, and data processing pipelines on AWS.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Python-based applications and Microservices
• Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations
• Design and implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch solutions, including document indexing, upserts, and complex Bool Query-based search
• Build and optimize PySpark/Glue ETL jobs
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on EKS
• Participate in code reviews, production support, and technical discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Required Skills:

• Strong programming experience inJavaandPython
• Hands-on experience withSpring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
• Experience withPySparkandAWS Gluefor data processing
• Strong knowledge of AWS services includingAPI Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM
• Hands-on experience withElasticsearch/OpenSearch, including Bool Queries, document indexing/upserts, and Kibana
• Experience withPostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience withDockerandKubernetes (Amazon EKS)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices
• Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 7-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
