The opportunity
We are currently seeking for a Law professional, specialized in Transactions/M&A, to support our Legal team and help our clients in law projects at different industry sectors. Actively establish internal and external relationships. Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues. You will also keep informed of professional standards and firm policies and procedures and effectively apply this knowledge to different client situations.

Your key responsibilities
Everything you do will come back to providing special legal activities for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you will be a high-profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a legal advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries and develop your career within a global organization.

To qualify for the role you must have
- 1-2 years of professional legal experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate law (excluding internships)
- a broad understanding of corporate and civil law
- experience in legal due diligence exercises and transaction execution
- knowledge and familiarity with share deals and asset deals
- experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating transactional and corporate documentation
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify legal and commercial risks
- willingness to embrace new challenges in a dynamic and non-traditional legal services environment
- a strong academic record, including a bachelor’s degree in law from a Greek university
- an LLM in Business Law, Corporate Law or Civil Law (preferably from a top-ranked university)
- substantial knowledge of MS Office applications
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
- excellent communication, organizational and prioritization skills
- strong teamwork, project management and stakeholder management skills
- a results-oriented approach with keen attention to quality, detail and accuracy
- self-motivation and a desire to exceed expectations
Ideally, you'll also have
- knowledge and experience in real estate law, including real estate due diligence, property acquisitions and disposals, commercial lease agreements and real estate aspects of M&A transactions
- experience working in cross-border transactions and multidisciplinary teams
