Associate Purchasing Accountant Specialist

About The PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant – Purchasing to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of purchase-related accounting activities, supporting monthly closing processes, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring financial transactions, improving processes, and supporting multi-entity operations.‍What You'll DoReview and validate all purchase entries, shipments and journal vouchers prepared by the teamEnsure accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documents for all financial entriesPerform detailed reviews of daily journal entries and Statement of Accounts (SOA) reconciliationsPerform detailed reviews of sales reports prepared by the teamConduct stock reviews and confirmation.Ensure timely completion of monthly closing activitiesContact and coordinate with vendors regarding payments invoices and all other requestsIdentify discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders for correctionsDevelop and maintain reports and tracking tools for effective stock & price monitoringContribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controlsCoordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reportingWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field3 years and above of relevant accounting experienceStrong knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices and regulationsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory)Experience in reconciliationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesEffective communication and coordination skillsNice To HaveFamiliarity with ERP systems beyond Business CentralProcess improvement or internal audit experienceExperience in Power BITechnical SkillsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralMicrosoft Excel (advanced: pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Financial reporting and reconciliation tools
