Senior Specialist AWS Infrastructure Engineer - Systems, Network & Security

About The PositionWe are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer with a strong systems engineering background to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network architecture and security engineering, combined with hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.‍What You'll DoDesign, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices for security, reliability, and cost optimizationDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and configure AWS resourcesArchitect and implement secure network topologies including VPCs, routing tables, security groups, NACLs and Transit Gateways.Design and maintain security controls including IAM policies, encryption strategies, and compliance frameworksMonitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and implement proactive solutionsCollaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment processesImplement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutionsConduct security assessments and implement remediation strategiesDocument infrastructure designs, processes, and proceduresStay current with AWS services and industry best practicesWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experienceHands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda etc.)Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automationStrong background in systems engineering with focus on network architecture and securityExperience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP)Familiar with security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC2, PCI-DSS, etc.)Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, or similar)Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShellFamiliar with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitHub/GitLabNice To HaveAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Security Specialty, Network Specialty etc.)Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or AWS SSM)Experience with log aggregation and analysis tools (CloudWatch)Familiarity with security scanning and vulnerability assessment toolsExperience with database administration and optimizationKnowledge of serverless architectures and microservicesTechnical SkillsCloud Platforms: AWS (primary), familiarity with Azure/GCP is a plusInfrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation is a plusNetworking: Multi-Account VPC design, load balancers, CDN, DNS management, Site-to-Site VPN, CloudWANSecurity: IAM, KMS, WAF, security groups, encryption at rest/in transitMonitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, third-party monitoring solutionsVersion Control: Git, GitLab/GitHubOperating Systems: Linux (preferred), Windows Server
