Associate Expenses Accountant Specialist

About The PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant – Expenses to join our finance team. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of expense-related accounting activities, supporting monthly closing processes, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring financial transactions, improving processes, and supporting multi-entity operations.‍What You'll DoReview and validate expense entries, accruals, and prepaid transactions prepared by the teamEnsure accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documents for all financial entriesPerform detailed reviews of daily journal entries and Statement of Accounts (SOA) reconciliationsVerify proper accounting treatment for accruals, provisions, and prepaid expensesReview payroll-related entries including salaries, NSSF, and taxesEnsure timely completion of monthly closing activitiesSupport accounting operations for Gulf and foreign entitiesIdentify discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders for correctionsDevelop and maintain reports and tracking tools for effective expense monitoringContribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controlsCoordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reportingWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field3–5 years of relevant accounting experienceStrong knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices and regulations (mandatory)Exposure to UAE, US, UK, and/or Canadian accounting standardsExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (mandatory)Solid understanding of payroll accounting, accruals, and prepaid accountingProven experience in expense accounting and reconciliationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesEffective communication and coordination skillsNice To HaveExperience working in multi-entity or multinational environmentsFamiliarity with ERP systems beyond Business CentralProcess improvement or internal audit experienceTechnical SkillsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralMicrosoft Excel (advanced: pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Financial reporting and reconciliation tools
