Join a team that helps leading organizations tackle complex indirect tax challenges with confidence. As a Senior Tax Staff or Manager, you'll work on meaningful advisory engagements across a range of industries, building your technical expertise while delivering practical solutions that support key business decisions. Along the way, you'll collaborate with experienced professionals and leverage innovative technology to create value for clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Translate complex indirect tax requirements into practical, business-focused guidance for clients.
• Analyze transactions, processes, and financial data to identify indirect tax risks and planning opportunities.
• Prepare technical research, client deliverables, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to navigate indirect tax compliance, reporting, and advisory matters.
• Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities across multiple engagements.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to the development of new business opportunities within the indirect tax practice.

Ideally, you’ll also

• Have completed or be pursuing one of the CPA, CPA In-depth Tax Course, CPA In-depth GST HST Program, MTax.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis on accounting, finance or law
  • Senior Tax Staff - 3 or more years of relevant, progressive indirect tax experience
  • Manager – 5 or more years of relevant, progressive indirect tax experience
    • 1 or more years of people management experience

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

• Vancouver
  • Senior Tax Staff - $65,500 to $98,500
  • Manager Tax - $92,000 to $138,000
