The TTT Manager is an execution-focused, client-facing delivery role responsible for translating tax and compliance requirements into working technology-enabled solutions across Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax, Accounting Compliance & Reporting, eInvoicing, and AI-enabled use cases. The role partners closely with client Tax, Finance, and Technology teams to design, build, test, and deploy solutions that improve accuracy, timeliness, transparency, and compliance outcomes through strong data, analytics, and implementation discipline.
2.Expected outcomes from the role (measurable “what success looks like”)
A.Corporate Tax & Compliance outcomes
§Delivers defined and implemented improvements to tax compliance and reporting processes (requirements, data, outputs), resulting in fewer errors and faster cycle times (consulting execution expectation).
§Produces reconciled, traceable datasets and validation routines that increase confidence in tax calculations and reporting outputs.
B.Indirect Tax & eInvoicing outcomes
§Supports delivery of indirect tax reporting improvements including data readiness, exception handling, and reporting governance.
§Where in scope, contributes to implementation of eInvoicing capabilities and associated data-driven VAT reporting frameworks, ensuring operational fit and data integrity.
C.Analytics & reporting outcomes (tools-driven)
§Builds robust analytics outputs (dashboards, exception reports, reconciliations) using SQL and visualization tools, enabling continuous monitoring and faster issue resolution.
§Produces reusable analytics workflows (e.g., data preparation and dashboarding) using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau (or equivalent), with clear documentation and repeatable logic.
D.AI outcomes (practical value + governance)
§Supports delivery of AI/GenAI-enabled use cases by preparing data inputs, documenting requirements, validating outputs against acceptance criteria, and supporting user adoption activities.
E.Delivery execution outcomes
§Delivers assigned modules/workstreams on time and within scope with strong testing discipline, defect management, and high-quality client-ready documentation (consulting execution expectation).

A.Tax and compliance functional capability (execution depth)
§Working understanding of Corporate Tax and Indirect Tax processes and how transactions, master data, and adjustments flow into compliance and reporting outputs (execution expectation).
§Working understanding of accounting compliance and reporting dependencies (calendars, source systems, reconciliations, evidence) (execution expectation).
B.Data, analytics & validation (tools capability — required)
§Strong working capability in SQL (extracts, joins, aggregations, validation logic, reconciliation support).
§Hands-on proficiency in Alteryx (data preparation, repeatable workflows) and Tableau (dashboard development, insights) or equivalent tools used on engagements.
§Ability to define and execute data quality checks, reconciliations, and exception monitoring rules to support compliance/reporting.
C.eInvoicing & digital indirect tax reporting (preferred but valuable)
§Understanding of eInvoicing implementation components: business process impacts, data fields, integration touchpoints, and reporting outputs; ability to support VAT reporting frameworks where required.
D.Solution design and architecture awareness (required at module level)
§Ability to contribute to module-level solution design: process flows, data mappings, interface requirements, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, audit logging) under broader solution architecture direction.
E.Software application development & SDLC execution (required)
§Ability to translate requirements into user stories/functional specifications, support backlog management, coordinate testing cycles, and manage defect triage and release readiness for software-enabled solutions.
F.AI/GenAI delivery support (required awareness)
§Ability to support AI/GenAI use cases by preparing training/validation datasets, defining acceptance criteria, validating outputs, documenting controls (human oversight), and supporting rollout readiness.
G.Change enablement (execution support)
§Supports adoption activities by producing user guidance, training materials, and handover documentation; actively gathers user feedback to refine solutions.
5.Key responsibilities (what the role does)
A.Requirements and solution development (client collaboration)
§Gather and clarify business requirements through client workshops and working sessions; translate into functional specs/user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria (execution expectation).
§Develop data mappings, business rules, and reporting logic; validate with client stakeholders and maintain traceability from requirement to output (execution expectation).
B.Build analytics and reporting outputs (hands-on delivery)
§Extract, transform, and validate data using SQL and analytics workflows; perform reconciliations and investigate variances.
§Build dashboards and insight packs using Tableau and prepare repeatable data workflows using Alteryx (or equivalent), with appropriate documentation. ,
C.Support eInvoicing and VAT reporting workstreams (where applicable)
§Support eInvoicing enablement activities: requirements gathering, data readiness, integration support documentation, testing support, and reporting validation.
§Support implementation of data-driven VAT reporting frameworks by validating source-to-report logic and exception handling.
D.SDLC and testing execution (build-test-deploy)
§Coordinate SIT/UAT preparation: test scenarios, scripts, test data, execution tracking, defect logging and retesting; ensure evidence packs are complete (execution expectation).
§Support release readiness and deployment activities: cutover checklists (module-level), user readiness inputs, and hypercare issue triage (execution expectation).
E.AI/GenAI use case execution support
§Support AI/GenAI solution delivery by documenting requirements, preparing datasets, validating output quality, and supporting adoption readiness activities.
F.Delivery governance and reporting (mandatory)
§Maintain workstream/task plans, RAID inputs, and weekly status reporting; escalate blockers early and manage dependencies across client and internal teams (execution expectation).
G.Team leadership (execution leadership)
§Guide Consultants/Junior staff on tasks and quality; review deliverables for accuracy and client readiness; coach on SQL/Alteryx/Tableau best practices within the engagement context.
H.Mobility (mandatory)
§Travel across MENA for key workshops and delivery milestones (standard consulting expectation).
6.Qualifications and experience
Required
§Typically 10+ years experience in tax technology, tax transformation delivery, compliance/reporting transformation, data & analytics delivery, or management consulting (industry standard).
§Demonstrated execution experience delivering technology-enabled outcomes with strong documentation and testing discipline (execution expectation).
§Hands-on capability with SQL plus at least one analytics workflow and visualization tool—preferably Alteryx and Tableau—to deliver reconciliations, dashboards, and reporting outputs.
§Experience supporting SDLC activities (requirements/user stories, testing, defect triage, release readiness) for software-enabled solutions.
Preferred
§Experience supporting eInvoicing and VAT digital reporting initiatives, including data-driven VAT reporting frameworks.
§Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled delivery support activities (validation, adoption support, quality controls).
§Relevant credentials aligned to role focus (tax/accounting qualification, data/analytics certifications, agile/testing credentials) (recommendation).
