このポジションでは、CSS（Customer Service & Support）に属する Commercial Technical Support の戦略的組織として、以下を担います。 

クラウド市場で競争に勝つために必要なサポートサービスの定義・実装
以下のような複数のクラウド技術が統合された複雑な技術シナリオにおける顧客課題の解決  

　Azure VMware Solutions

　Azure NetApp Files 

　SAP/Oracle DB on Azure  

　Nutanix Cloud Clusters on Azureなど 

また、サービス可用性、品質、障害管理、サブスクリプション管理、使用量と課金の相関分析、コスト効率の高いアーキテクチャ設計などのサービス運用面もサポート 

複数の STB（Server & Tools Business）製品グループ（エンジニアリングおよびオペレーション）および BG（Business Group）へ、重要な製品フィードバックを提供 

Azure Support エコシステムの一環として、CTS（Cloud Transfer Service）の専門人材を統合し、特定技術（プライベートクラウド、ストレージ、ネットワーク、顧客環境）に関わる課題解決を主導

オンプレミス製品ではなく サービスとしてのクラウド を支えるサポートを行い、CTS 内外の複数の Microsoft チーム（オペレーション、STB の BG / PG、コマースプラットフォームエンジニアリングチーム等）と密に連携します。 
 
主な業務内容 
Microsoft Azure Platform上におけるサポート提供を担当し、顧客と連携しながら技術的な課題の解決に取り組む役割を担います。 
また、顧客対応を通じて顕在化する技術サポート上の Pain Point（課題・改善点） を特定し、その内容や詳細をテクニカルアドバイザーおよび社内チームへフィードバックすることも重要な責務です。 

Azure Platformのサポート能力を実装・強化するうえで極めて重要な役割を担います。具体的には、プロダクトグループ（PG）や Azure Supportability PM（プロジェクトマネージャー）と連携し、要望事項の実装を進めること、必要な技術面・プロセス面での準備状況を特定すること、さらにトレーニング PM やテックリードと協力してサポートチーム全体の対応準備を整えることが含まれます。 
加えて、必要に応じて技術領域ごとの専門キュー（depth queue）と関係を構築・連携し、顧客インシデントの解決を推進します。 

評価指標（KPI）としては、CPE（Customer and Partner Experience）チームの目標達成、解決またはエスカレーションまでの時間、競合他社と同等の応答時間を実現することが含まれます。 
また、継続的なReadinessおよびプラットフォームトレーニングを通じて技術スキルを維持・向上させること、さらに将来の Microsoft クラウド サポート能力の創出に積極的に関与することも求められます。 

Responsibilities include: 

The Support Engineer is responsible for support delivery, working with customers to resolve technical customer issues on the Microsoft Azure Platform.   In addition, the Support Engineer will focus on determining technical support Pain areas that they would see while working with Customers and Provide feedback and details to Technical Advisors and Internal teams.   
The Support Engineer is a critical role in the implementation of Azure Platform support capabilities which includes working with the PG and Azure Supportability PMs (Project Managers) to implement asks; identify technology, and/or process readiness needs, and work with Training PMs and Tech Leads to ensure support team readiness; and, develop relationships with and engage with technology-specific depth queues for customer incident resolution when required.  
Specific measurements include achieving the CPE (Customer and Partner Experience) team goals, time to resolution or escalation, enabling a response time like competitors; maintaining technical skills through completion of ongoing readiness and Platform training; and, in general participating in the creation of future Microsoft support capabilities for the cloud.

• VMware 環境で使用されるバックアップ・DR サービスの運用経験 

• Active Directory、セキュリティ、OS 内部構造の知識 
• パフォーマンス、更新、RDP / SSH、ライセンス、OS 起動のトラブルシューティング 
• 仮想化概念および仮想システム管理の理解 

• VIP、NAT、DNSなどのネットワーク基礎 
• ping / tracert / tracemon / Wireshark 等のツール利用経験 
• ロードバランシング、VPN 技術の理解（尚可） 
• OSI 参照モデルの理解 

• Azure Virtual Machines、VMSS、暗号化、Image Builder、Compute Gallery、Azure Storage、Azure Portal の管理・トラブルシューティング 
• Azure 開発・展開ライフサイクルの理解 
• PowerShell、Netmon、Fiddler、CLI の利用経験 

• 2～5 年の顧客対応を含むサポート業務または同等の経験 

• 頻度は高くはありませんが、24x7 のオンコールまたは緊急対応が可能な方 
• VMware 認定資格を保有している方は歓迎 

• コンピュータサイエンス学位、またはそれに相当する実務経験 

• Japanese: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking  
• English: Confident in reading and writing; intermediate conversational spoken level

• Experience with Vmware HCX and Vmware NSX and Vmware VCF 
• Experience with backup and DR services used with Vmware 

• Familiarity with Active Directory, Security, OS (operating systems) Internals concepts (Windows & Linux) 
• Familiar with OS troubleshooting, Performance, OS Update, RDP/SSH, Licensing, OS Boot 
• Understanding of Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration. 

• Familiarity with networking concepts including VIPs (Virtual IP), NAT (network address translation), DNS (Domain Name System)  
• Familiarity with networking tools (ping, Tracert, Tracemon, wire shark, etc.) 
• Understanding of load balancing, VPN (virtual private networks) technologies preferred 
• Understanding of the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model and related concepts 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform services (IaaS) including Virtual Machines, VMSS (virtual machine scale sets), Azure Encryption, Image Builder, Compute Gallery, Azure Storage, Azure Portal – Administration and Troubleshooting. 
• Azure Platform development and deployment Lifecycle  
• Familiarity with tools: PowerShell, Netmon, Fiddler, CLI (command-line interfaces) 

• 2-5 years of support or equivalent experience including a customer facing or customer support role  

• Available to work critical cases as needed on a 24x7 basis or through an on-call model. 
• VMware Certification is desirable 

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
