Specialized Consultant, Pharmacy Compliance

About the Role:
As a Specialized Consultant, Pharmacy Compliance, you will coordinate and lead sales and implementation activities that meet the needs of our external customers and internal team. You will help our customers successfully adopt and optimize the utilization of our Simplifi+ solutions to improve the safety and quality of compounded pharmacy products, in accordance to relevant USP chapters and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Support the sales and customer success teams as an expert to demonstrate product functionality, key benefits, and integration into workflow to prospective and current customers.
• Facilitate customer adoption and usage of pharmacy compliance solutions to achieve their desired outcomes, including providing advice on workflow and practice model adjustment, implementation of policies and procedures based on best available evidence, practice guidelines, regulations, and professional practices.
• Create and update clinical and operational content in our solutions to maintain currency with latest evidence.
• Build professional relationships with pharmacy customers during and after implementations to serve as a trusted pharmacy resource.
• Contribute to marketing activities and campaigns by providing thought leadership in pharmacy practice through webinars, blogs, professional meeting presentations, and scientific publications.
• Collaborate with product development team to ideate feature enhancements, participate in user acceptability testing, lead customer facing pilots and testing, and engage in market research.
• Develop training materials in various formats to support updates and changes to solutions.
• Manage sensitive, protected health information (PHI) in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Skills:

• Certified pharmacy technician (CPhT); currently registered or certified to practice as a pharmacy technician within the United States, if required by state or local regulations.
• Successful completion from a pharmacy technician training program or an equivalent associate degree.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a hospital or health-system pharmacy or an infusion pharmacy, including the following responsibilities:
  • Preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, in accordance with the latest relevant USP chapters.
  • Prepare medications for pharmacist verification and distribute medications according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Stock, inventory, and maintain automated dispensing cabinets, medication trays/kits, and emergency/specialty carts.
  • Maintenance of documents, records, and other collaterals to demonstrate compliance to quality management standards.
  • Experience in preparing for Joint Commission or DNV surveys, Department of Health, Board of Pharmacy, and other applicable regulatory agency inspections and as necessary, contribution to the design and implementation of process improvement plans based on Recommendations for Improvements (RFIs) or other relevant regulatory findings.
• Experience working with pharmacy compounding or IV workflow software preferred.
• Certification in Compounded Sterile Preparation (CSPT) preferred.
• Communication: Basic written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Organizational Skills: Proficiency in maintaining organized documentation and project materials.
• Microsoft Office: Basic knowledge of tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Detail-Oriented: Focus on accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
• Collaborative Working: Willingness to work within a team setting supporting various projects.

Approximately 40% travel will be required.

Compensation:

$57,100.00 - $97,500.00 USD

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
