KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Treasury Sales in promoting and executing treasury products including FX, commodities, precious metals, and Islamic money market instruments.
Provide product and pricing support to Relationship Managers and Private Banking teams to address client requirements.
Prepare client proposals, product term sheets, and marketing materials.
Ensure smooth coordination between the front office and operations for timely execution and settlement.
Maintain continuous engagement with key clients and contribute to growing the Bank’s treasury customer base.
Product Structuring and Development:
Design and develop innovative Sharia-compliant treasury and investment solutions and guide the role-out process based on clients’ feed-back and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with Sharia, Legal, and Risk departments to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance.
Conduct pricing, modeling, and profitability analysis for proposed structures.
Continuously review market trends and competitor offerings to recommend new or enhanced products.
Support documentation and product governance in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Manage the continuous assessment of existing products and ensure they match the internal Sharia standards
Treasury Operations and Execution Oversight
Act as a link between Sales and Operations to ensure accuracy in deal booking and settlement
Oversee daily transaction processes to ensure compliance with policies and error-free execution.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce operational risks.
Support automation and system enhancement projects impacting Treasury Sales.
Strategic and Analytical Contribution
- Provide insights on market opportunities and clients need to guide Treasury Sales strategy.
- Prepare reports and dashboards covering performance metrics, sales pipelines, and profitability analysis.
Participate in strategic projects including new product launches, system upgrades, and regulatory implementations.
Leadership and Backup Responsibilities
Act as a backup for the Head of Financial Markets Sales when required.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall development of the Treasury Sales team.
Encourage teamwork, accountability, and excellence in service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Academic Qualifications (Minimum Requirement):
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
A Master’s degree such as an MBA or MSc in Finance) from a recognized institution is preferred.
Professional Certifications (Minimum Requirement / Preferred):
Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), ACI Diploma, Investment Representative Program (Series 7), Diploma in Trading and Financial Market Analysis Level 6 (QCF-UK) or equivalent are preferred.
Minimum Experience:
2–5 years of progressive experience in financial markets, treasury sales, or structuring, with a strong track record in FX, structured products, and client advisory.
Familiarity with Sharia-compliant financial instruments, regulatory frameworks, and treasury systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) is highly desirable.
