Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist (American Board / CCT, Western Qualified)

Job Summary

Leading hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist with strong expertise in comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. The role involves managing a diverse range of routine and high-risk pregnancies, gynecological conditions, and surgical cases within a multidisciplinary hospital environment. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care while contributing to clinical excellence, patient safety, and the continued development of women’s health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and management of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, antenatal care, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Perform obstetric and gynecological procedures and surgeries according to clinical expertise.
• Manage emergency obstetric and gynecological cases effectively.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex gynecological conditions.
• Perform and interpret relevant examinations, ultrasound assessments, and diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate counseling to patients.
• Work closely with maternal-fetal medicine, neonatology, anesthesiology, fertility, oncology, and other multidisciplinary teams where required.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety and infection control.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the development and enhancement of advanced obstetric and gynecological services

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• American Board, UK CCT/CCST, or equivalent recognized Western qualification.
• Western-qualified candidate with established Consultant-level experience.
• Strong experience in general obstetrics and gynecology, with exposure to high-risk and complex cases.
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological surgical procedures.
• Experience in a leading hospital, tertiary-care, or advanced women’s health setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and patient-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
