BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory (FMA) teamprovidesstrategic advice and execution to clients across capital markets, portfolio management, andtransactionadvisorythemes.Our clients include official sector and financial institution clients globally, includingsovereign wealth funds,asset owners, centralbanks,banks,and insurance companies.
We supportour clientson their most critical and complex financial issues–includingenhancing theirconnectivity withcapital markets,structuringreal assets investmentstrategiesandfunds,optimizingassetallocations andinvestmentportfolios,anddesigninginnovativefinancing solutionsto supportclients'economic and developmentalgoals.

We are looking to recruitprofessionalsatAssociate-and Vice President-level to join the team inourKuwait office.
In this role you will partner with:
Externally:you will engage withandadviseprivate and public sector financial institutions, asset owners,andgovernments
Internally:you willleverageBlackRock’s unparalleled capabilitiesacrossCapital Markets,Aladdin,Portfolio Advisoryand Research functions
Key responsibilities:
Lead project activities, independently or with support of junior team members
Lead engagement design and planning, defining deliverables and content, and developing timelines
Lead or support day-to-day interactions with clients, including executive-level stakeholders
Develop subject matterexpertiseacross capital marketsand real assetstopics, andprovideclient-specific actionable advice
Advise clients on theirinfrastructure and real estate assetsinvestment strategies,includingproject preparation approach, applying best-in-classinvestment practices, financial modelling, and transaction management
Support clients on capital markets and investment strategy topics, including strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and otherportfolio advisory themesemergingfrom client engagements
Conduct or oversee research and quantitative analysis, resultinginhigh-quality reports and presentations that inform strategic decision-making
Uphold BlackRock’s fiduciary culture and commitment to excellence
Work collaboratively in large, multi-disciplinary project teams
Actively contribute to business development, working alongside senior team leaders to conceive, develop, and market innovative solutions for new and existing clients
Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on project work
Key skills and qualifications:
Minimum of3-7yearsofstrongexperienceinfinancialmarkets,investment banking,infrastructure/ real estateinvesting,ortop-tier managementconsulting
Self-determined drive toobtainsuperiorresultsfor clients
Excellent problem-solvingandanalytical skills and ability to learnnew contentquickly
Strong verbal and written communication, including the ability to synthesise complex ideas into clear messages
Superiororganizationalskills with the ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
Genuine passion for thefinancialmarkets
Preferred:
Expertiseinareassuch asinvestment banking,transactionstructuring,infrastructure and real estate investments,asset-basedfinance,andfinancial modelling
Good understanding ofinfrastructure and real estatetransactions,includingprojectdesign, reviewoffeasibility studies,investorlandscape,and transaction management
Fluency in Arabic

Our hybrid work model
