The Work:

• This role is focused on growing and shaping Accenture's MedTech Commercial business. Beyond leading client engagements, you will define market strategy, create industry-leading points of view, cultivate C-suite relationships, and help establish Accenture as the preferred partner for commercial reinvention across the MedTech ecosystem.
• You will be a key driver of our MedTech Commercial growth agenda: building client relationships from scratch, shaping compelling propositions, closing engagements, and developing the next generation of Accenture consultants. AI fluency is central to how we work and what we sell.
• You will help MedTech clients rethink growth in a rapidly changing environment, helping them deploy AI, redesign commercial operating models, optimize go-to-market strategies, improve productivity, and unlock new sources of revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage business development pipeline of new client engagements across the MedTech industry — including top OEMs and digital health companies
• Develop C-suite and VP-level client relationships, positioning Accenture as a long-term strategic partner in commercial reinvention.
• Lead commercial transformation programs including commercial operating model redesign, sales excellence, omnichannel engagement, commercial enablement, and go-to-market optimization.
• Partner with clients to evaluate, design and scale AI and advanced analytics to improve commercial decision-making, territory design, lead generation, customer segmentation, channel effectiveness, and field productivity, improving both efficiency and topline metrics
• Develop business cases and value realization roadmaps that quantify revenue growth, productivity improvements, and customer experience outcomes.
• Shape and pitch compelling propositions that connect Accenture’s capabilities – strategy, technology, AI, and operations – to our clients’ most urgent commercial challenges
• Develop and advance Accenture's market position in MedTech Commercial Transformation through industry thought leadership, executive forums, publications, conference speaking engagements, analyst engagement, and strategic client discussions. Shape Accenture's MedTech commercial growth agenda by identifying emerging industry trends, defining differentiated market offerings, and building distinctive intellectual property that supports business development and client impact.
• Build and activate relationships across clients, technology partners, industry associations, venture ecosystems, and academic institutions to support business growth and innovation.

• Lead global, high-performing consulting teams delivering commercial and marketing engagements across MedTech segments
• Build and scale Accenture offerings, assets, and thought leadership across AI-enabled commercial transformation and MedTech growth strategy.
• Mentor and develop junior talent, building the next generation of Accenture's MedTech Commercial practice.
• Travel - candidate should be willing to travel up to 75% to client locations.

Here's What You Need:

• Minimum of 12 years of MedTech commercial experience and expertise, including sales, marketing, commercial operations, commercial excellence, market access, customer engagement, or business unit leadership.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial and marketing continuums from strategy to execution.
• Minimum of 8 years in at least one area: cardiovascular, surgery, diabetes, diagnostics, digital health, or adjacent fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, with a strong track record of delivery, business development, and client origination.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability to build senior client relationships independently and convert them into revenue — a proven hunter, not just a relationship manager.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience applying or selling AI, data, or digital solutions within a commercial or marketing context.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in MedTech commercial strategy, customer engagement, AI, digital health, commercialization, or revenue transformation.
• Experience developing market propositions, industry offerings, intellectual property, or commercial growth platforms.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Points If:

• Experience with leading commercial technology platforms including Salesforce, Veeva, Microsoft, Adobe, ServiceNow, or AI-enabled commercial platforms.
• Experience commercializing connected devices, software, services, data products, or digital health solutions.
• An existing network of senior commercial, marketing, or business leaders at MedTech companies who see you as a trusted advisor
• A track record of building and managing a pipeline with discipline: staged opportunities, conversion metrics, and a clear point of view on where to invest your time.
• Experience helping clients build AI-enabled commercial and marketing organizations — not just recommending AI, but designing and implementing it.

• Recognized market presence demonstrated through published thought leadership, conference speaking, analyst engagement, industry board participation, executive roundtables, podcast appearances, media contributions, or a well-established professional reputation within the MedTech ecosystem.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
