As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective application designs. This role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and crafting tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes. The position demands continuous engagement in refining application functionalities to ensure they meet evolving business objectives, while also supporting the integration and deployment of these solutions within the operational environment. The role fosters a dynamic work atmosphere where problem-solving and innovation are integral to daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team and project scope.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio.
- Strong experience in designing and developing custom integrations and applications using Workday Studio.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Workday environments.
- Familiarity with Workday web services and integration frameworks.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Studio.
- This position is based at our Indore office.
