Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries is seeking a new college graduate to join the Analytics Center of Excellence, Digital Manufacturing and help develop data-driven solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. Working closely with the Analytics Center of Excellence Digital Manufacturing Manager and cross-functional Fab teams, this engineer will define project objectives, prepare manufacturing datasets, apply statistical and machine learning methods, develop predictive agentic solutions, and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders and Fab leadership.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Analytics Center of Excellence Digital Manufacturing Manager to define project objectives, deliverables, success measures, and timelines; support the design, development, programming, testing, and documentation of analytics methods, processes, and systems across multiple use cases.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and digital manufacturing solutions, and translate requirements into measurable data-driven approaches.
- Collect, clean, integrate, and preprocess large datasets from multiple sources; apply statistical analysis, visualization, and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop, evaluate, and implement predictive models and algorithms and agentic solutions for real-world manufacturing problems; communicate findings, limitations, and recommendations to technical stakeholders and Fab leadership using SMART objectives and clear measures of value.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
- Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Coursework, research, internship, or project experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, data visualization, or digital manufacturing analytics.
- Programming experience with Python, R, SQL, or similar tools and familiarity with data preparation, model evaluation, visualization, and reproducible analytical workflows.
- Programming experience with agentic solution building, including leveraging agentic solutions to rapid prototype, develop new features, and scale solutions

Expected Salary Range
$58,400.00 - $100,800.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
